The Indigenous Learning Center

We here at the Canadian Vocational Training Center are pleased to announce our new partnership with a new campus in Alberta called The Indigenous Learning Center. Working alongside our industry experts, this 100% First Nations owned adult educational center strives to help primarily First Nations students gain the skills they need to become employed in today’s fast-paced world.

The goals of the Indigenous Learning Center are very much in line with the skills we espouse here at the CVTC: to Educate, Empower and Employ. With that in mind, the center will focus on the development of locals to help them get skills such as computer literacy, hospitality, customer service and other skills. The center will offer the best learning environment possible, with knowledgeable instructors, smaller class sizes, up to date information and of course, plenty of feedback from local employers.

The Indigenous Learning Center campus will be based out of Lac La Biche, a community northeast of Edmonton; however, the campus site may be in Edmonton for the time being. We will have more information about that as the project moves forward, so make sure to check back often as this school gets off the ground! And for more information about the center, please contact us at the Canadian Vocational Training Center. We will be happy to direct you and help you learn more about this amazing opportunity for Alberta.
