Programs We Offer
Programs which have been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills
Hospitality Fundamentals Program
The Hospitality Fundamentals Program includes six courses developed by the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute and gives students the real world knowledge and skills needed for a long-term career in the hospitality industry. The program provides an understanding about the hospitality industry as a whole, including training in front office work, food and beverage operations, supervisory and housekeeping, as well as Business Communication, Customer Service and MS Word. This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Post Secondary Education and Future Skills.
Office Assistant Certificate Program
The Office Assistant Certificate Program prepares the student for an entry level position in a computerized office environment. All functions of the modern office are covered, including Microsoft Office applications, Business Communications and Office Procedures. Students have the opportunity to obtain additional additional certification in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Post Secondary Education and Future Skills.
Special Education Teacher’s Assistant
The Special Education Teacher’s Assistant Program prepares the student to assist teachers in developing and implementing appropriate instructional programs and methods within the educational settings. This 38-week program provides a solid foundation of theoretical knowledge combined with practical strategies to support classroom instructional, behavioral, and social learning of students with exceptionalities. This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Post Secondary Education and Future Skills.
Computerized Accounting and Automated Office
The Computerized Accounting and Automated Office Certification Program prepares the student for an entry level position in a computerized office environment. All functions of the modern office are covered, including Microsoft Office applications, Business Communication, Office Procedures, as well as manual and computerized bookkeeping/accounting. Students have the opportunity to obtain additional certification in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook. This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Post Secondary Education and Future Skills.
DeNovo Program
This program does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Post Secondary Education and Future Skills. The DeNovo Program is geared to help people who are unemployed or precariously employed find sustainable employment through upgrading skills and focused skills training as desired. This highly successful program is perfect for anyone who finds themselves in difficulty due to massive layoffs impacting themselves and their community.

Hire Ed Program
This program does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. The Hire Ed program is a program for youth aged 15-29 and is geared to help them prepare for becoming post-secondary students at a college or university. This ten week program includes training in Word, study skills, budgeting, networking, applying for funding and more! We also offer accommodation supports, a kitted out laptop and successful completion of the program along with acceptance into a university or college can get you a semester of paid tuition through this program.
SecurIt Program
This program does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. The Secureit program is a 12 week cohort based program designed to prepare students for a wide range of entry level positions in the security industry. This program includes a two week practicum and supports as needed.
