Our Mission Statement at the Canadian Vocational Training Centre is to Educate, Empower and Employ. We strive to educate individuals using up-to-date curriculum to start empowering them to take charge of their futures and become Employed in a career of their choice. Our programs are perfectly suited to help our students become employed in a diverse range of careers. We offer six main programs to choose from:


Computerized Office Professional The Computerized Office Professional Program prepares the student for an entry level position in a computerized office environment. All functions of the modern office are covered, including Microsoft Office applications, Business Communications and Office Procedures. Students have the opportunity to obtain additional additional certification in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Computerized Accounting and Automated Office:  The Computerized Accounting and Automated Office Certification Program prepares the student for an entry level position in a computerized office environment. All functions of the modern office are covered, including Microsoft Office applications, Business Communication, Office Procedures, as well as manual and computerized bookkeeping/accounting. Students have the opportunity to obtain additional certification in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
Light Warehouse Training  The Light Warehouse Training Program is designed to teach students the skills and certifications necessary for entry level work within the Transportation and Logistics industry. Training includes shipping and receiving procedures, inventory control, safety skills, business communication, customer service, Word Core and Excel Core. Students have the opportunity to obtain additional certificates which includes: Forklift Operators Certification, Occupational First Aid Level 1, Occupational Health and Safety, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, and Microsoft Specialist Certification in Excel and Word.
Hospitality Fundamentals Program  The Hospitality Fundamentals Program includes six courses developed by the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute and gives students the real world knowledge and skills needed for a long-term career in the hospitality industry. The program provides an understanding about the hospitality industry as a whole, including courses in MS Word Core, MS Excel Core, Business Communication, and Customer Service.
Kick Start  The Kick Start Program has been developed to help students get back into the workforce by focusing on the nine essential employee skills as set out by Skills Canada and from the employer’s perspective.
Special Education Teacher’s Assistant  The Special Education Teacher’s Assistant Program prepares the student to assist teachers in developing and implementing appropriate instructional programs and methods within the educational settings. This 38-week program provides a solid foundation of theoretical knowledge combined with practical strategies to support classroom instructional, behavioral, and social learning of students with exceptionalities.
