Here, where the Nechako and the mighty Fraser Rivers converge, and less than 100 km from the province’s geographical centre, sits Prince George: British Columbia’s “Northern Capital”. This is where CVTC first started in November 2013.
The area around Prince George is the traditional territory of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nations people, who made their livelihood off the bountiful rivers, lakes and forests of the region. CVTC would like to formally recognize that we sit on the unceded, traditional territory of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nations people.
The Prince George campus is fully Designated by the Ministry of Advanced Education. As such, it offers programs approved by the Private Training Institute Branch as well as programs run through specific government contracts.
