Hospitality Fundamentals Program

The Hospitality Fundamentals Program includes six courses developed by the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute and gives students the real world knowledge and skills needed for a long-term career in the hospitality industry. The program provides an understanding about the hospitality industry as a whole, including training in front office work, food and beverage operations, supervisory and housekeeping, as well as Business Communication, Customer Service and MS Word. This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training.

Office Assistant Certificate Program

The Office Assistant Certificate Program prepares the student for an entry level position in a computerized office environment. All functions of the modern office are covered, including Microsoft Office applications, Business Communications and Office Procedures. Students have the opportunity to obtain additional additional certification in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training.

Special Education Teacher’s Assistant

The Special Education Teacher’s Assistant Program prepares the student to assist teachers in developing and implementing appropriate instructional programs and methods within the educational settings. This 38-week program provides a solid foundation of theoretical knowledge combined with practical strategies to support classroom instructional, behavioral, and social learning of students with exceptionalities. This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training.

Computerized Accounting and Automated Office

The Computerized Accounting and Automated Office Certification Program prepares the student for an entry level position in a computerized office environment. All functions of the modern office are covered, including Microsoft Office applications, Business Communication, Office Procedures, as well as manual and computerized bookkeeping/accounting. Students have the opportunity to obtain additional certification in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook. This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training.

Light Warehouse
Training

The Light Warehouse Training Program is designed to teach students the skills and certifications necessary for entry level work within the Transportation and Logistics industry. Training includes shipping and receiving procedures, inventory control, safety skills, business communication, customer service, Word Core and Excel Core. Students have the opportunity to obtain additional certificates which includes: Forklift Operators Certification, Occupational First Aid Level 1, Occupational Health and Safety, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, and Microsoft Specialist Certification in Excel and Word. This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training.

DeNovo
Program

This program does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills, and Training. The DeNovo program has been custom developed to give students, particularly those from areas hard hit by the reduction in logging and industry, a fresh start. Almost fully customizable with up to 5 STOC and the ability to take distance learning from other schools, DeNovo truly gives you a chance for a fresh start. This program does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training. As such, PTIB did not review this program.

Computer Service
Technician Program

This program does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills, and Training. The Computer Service Technician Program is designed to give students the training they need to work in an entry level position as a computer service technician. This 30 week program includes training in things such as coding, troubleshooting, CompTIA A+ and Word, Excel, and Access. This program does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training. As such, PTIB did not review this program.

Gateway
Program

This program does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills, and Training. The Gateway program has been developed specifically to help survivors of abuse and trauma. This targeted program has been built for people looking to get into or re-enter the workforce. You’ve survived what life has thrown at you so far: time to shine in the workforce! This program does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training. As such, PTIB did not review this program.
